Today I shall talk about how annoying those dang pop-ups are! They sneak through the cracks even with the no pop up blocks on. Why is it its usually porn? Why do they think I want to look at some stupid girl half dressed sticking her finger in her mouth? I don’t want to see that, I don’t want to think about it! I don’t want that image even passing in my brain, it doesn’t do a thing for me other than annoy me…

Now if it was say Adrian Paul (of Highlander) doing something like, waving to me half dressed in a rather roguish manner, now that I WANT to see!

What else annoys me this day? Bush has 295 days left in office. Now I really find that more than annoying. I think that’s 295 days too many, he should just leave now, he has no future in the white house, he’s pretty much worn out his welcome and needs to move on back to Crawford. Now before his security gets all crazy and up in arms let me say I don’t want anything to happen to him, in fact he seems like a rather nice dufus. Someone ya just kinda say hey there to and move on. He can’t help who he is and that he’s a bit slow on the uptake. I just want him to go away, have a happy life and stop with the dictator ideas. So for 295 days I will continue to be annoyed at a fool who hasn’t the sense to know when he’s done and not wanted any more…..Ahhh such is life.

Another thing I want to address, these more than stupid tech support people you call for help. Now I have Qwest for my DSL and my modem for dsl is shot, it take 15 minutes to find a signal and just works when wants. Its been doing this for well over 2 weeks and I have been calling them daily to complain. They keep saying the same things over and over to fix it, like do you have the modem plugged in? Of course I do, I know that much. I know that it needs power and it can’t get it just lying there. So the question these experts ask is the light on? Again of course it is, I know the light has to be on. Is the cables connected? Now this is getting really annoying and I am losing my patience. Of course the cables are plugged in you twit, I told you it works randomly. I told you I haven’t changed a thing since the darn thing worked 2 months ago, I told you it started doing this and NOTHING has changed. Why are you wasting my time with this? Then they say well you must have changed a setting (I DIDN’T I CHECKED) theres nothing wrong at this end they reply. AAAAAAAAGGGHHHH! Please oh great and all knowing tech person could you be kind enough to give this low knowing being a new working model of the modem? I really think it would make a difference.

No, they reply, we will send someone to check the outside line. They do and find nothing, it happens yet again.

I call… this time we go through it all again, turning it on and off, checking wires looking at lights. Yeah, yeah, Yeah. I say to each question as I stand there and finally this tech person says; Hummm I think it might be the modem, we will send you a new one through the mail, which will take a week or two.

Cant you just send someone to drop it off like the guy who checked the lines? Oh no, that’s not our policy they reply.

Ok can I pick it up and drop the old one off? Sorry again not our policy.

Jesus, I think this is like living in the twilight zone where everyone is a special kinda a$$*&%#. So now I wait for the new modem in the mail and am 199% Annoyed with the whole mess. Oh to top it off they send an e-mail to see how good their service was, talk about nerve (and ignorance)

OK so that’s it for today, I will try to blog more often, if my new modem ever shows up in the mail (but that’s another rant, the postal system)

I think there was an old John Denver song that said "some days are diamonds, some days are stones"

Why does it seem like there's most days like stones?  I expect  some others may have found this to be true also. but that still doesn't explain why.  Maybe it's the weather, It's been really cold here in ND and I feel really sad alot more than I used to, and no I don't think medication is going to help. 

You want to do something really nice for someone you care about, but there just isn't enough money. Then you feel even worse when you hear about others doing wonderful things for people they care about. You kinda have to ask, why not me, why couldn't I do that?   It just doesn't seem quite right.

I suppose the coming darkness has contributed to this quite a bit, and one should be thankful for what they have. Still a little extra would certainly go a long ways to making things better.

It was a cold, blustery day out today with -20 wind chill whipping around  the corners and made your face hurt. It made any normal person want to stay inside and warm.

  Not our husky  dog though, she is grey/black and very furry, like a little bear.  She has determined in her infinite wisdom, that it is better to be outside in -20 rather than be inside in a warm dry bed, go figure. Well I for one do not plan to stand out in the cold any longer than necessary.

Well here I am, embarking on a new venture into the world of blogging.   My friend said I should give it a try, it might be fun.

I said, well alright then so here begins the first of many drops of water.  It is said (somewhere?) that every great body of water had to start somewhere as a few drops of water, I don't know  how my body of water will turn out in time, but here are a few drops.

At this very moment, I am sitting here contemplating the frozen, snowy landscape outside, quite glad I am not out in it. Being the end of December this is typical weather here. Sometimes the shadows make the land appear like craters on the moon, and I wonder what would living on the moon be like? Imagining of course that there was air to breathe and so on.  I heard that some industrious company was planning to  build hotels on the moon as a vacation spot. Hmmmm that could be an interesting trip. I suppose I'll be to old to enjoy it by the time it happens or I can afford it, oh well on to other things.

I'm attempting to write a book about the magickal adventures of a squirrel, but it's going a bit slow.  How come when you tell a story it comes out just fine, til you try to put it to paper? Then it just drags like an old wagon with no wheels.  Well, I guess I'll have to find some wheels...
